    A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate (Std. XII) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination of a Council or Board outside Maharashtra State from a recognized Institution located in the State of Maharashtra, with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
     
    The candidate must have obtained not less than 50% marks (minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects and obtained a non zero score in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together at MHT-CET conducted by the Competent Authority. (i)Passed HSC or (ii)Passed Diploma in Engg. & Technology or (iii) Passed BSc. degree.
